Johanna, PA President

With four years of experience as the Parents Association President, I have honed my skills and knowledge in advocating for the rights of parents and students. I bring this expertise to my roles as a member of the Community Education Council for District 4 (CEC4) and Citywide Council for English Learning Languages (CCELL), and as part of the School District 4 Team, District Leader Team (DLT). I also actively contribute to the discussions in the monthly meetings of Manhattan Community Board 11, the Panel for Education Policy (PEP), and the Citywide Council of Special Education CCSE.

Lawanda Joyner, PA Vice President

Hello, PS/MS 007 families,
I am Lawanda Joyner, your current PA Vice President. My daughter attends PS/MS 007 and loves the school and the friends she has made there. She is super excited to participate in school every day. The school community has become our 2nd family.

My position allows me to increase parent involvement and support school activities. It also allows me to build a community with our families and the PS/MS 007 school leadership team. My love and commitment to the school will help make 007 the top school in District 04. My Passion for advocacy, not only for my child but for all the children, and getting parents' voices heard has been my number one priority at PS/MS 007. I look forward to working together as a family.

Renee, PA Treasurer

As the Treasurer of PS 007's Parent Teacher Association, I am committed to supporting all financial matters, and organizing fundraisers and activities that enhance students' experiences. With children in 3rd and 7th grades, I am deeply invested in our school's success and actively contribute to building a stronger community. My role has provided valuable insights into the collaborative efforts required to elevate our school's excellence

Hi PS/MS 007 Families,
I am Evelis Galarza-Serrano your PA secretary and Title 1 Co Chair. My daughters currently attend PS/MS 007 and being a part of our school community has been the best experience for my girls. They love going to school every morning and as a parent it makes me happy to see my girls looking forward to being in school.

I take pride in being a Parent Leader and a part of our D4 Community & PAC Team. Being able to be a part of D4 at this level has definitely been a blessing for me. My passion has always been to come back to the D4 Community I grew up in to advocate and assist all families.
